CSAIL (China South Asia Investment Limited.) was jointly founded by CTGI, IFC and Silk Road Fund in 2011. It focuses on investment, development and operation of clean energy in Asia and Pacific; and is the largest IPP in Pakistan clean energy sector. There are around 116 employees spread in Pakistan and HK, with 60% are local personnel.

CSAIL has a diversified shareholders structure and lean corporate governance and risk control management. Benefited from Pak-China long-lasting Friendship and “Belt & Road Initiatives” , CSAIL owns several projects under construction and on operation with a total capacity nearly 2000MW.
